Lincoln Alexander Day - January 21 Lincoln Alexander Day is a National Day of Recognition in Canada to honour Lincoln MacCauley Alexander, a prominent Black Canadian and notable figure in the fight for racial equity for Black Canadians. He was the first Black Canadian member of Parliament (1968), first Black Canadian Cabinet Minister (1979) and the first Black Canadian Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario (1985).

Online registration is now open for a September 2023 start in Kindergarten. Please follow the following steps to register for Kindergarten: Use the Find My Local Catholic School tool to find schools designated as the home school in your area;Create an OSAS account, or log in to your existing account;Log in to your OSAS account, and select “Regular School - New Application”.

Begin your child's faith-filled journey at the DCDSB! Your child must be turning 4 years of age by December 31, 2023 to register for Year 1/Junior Kindergarten or 5 years of age by December 31, 2023 to register for Year 2/Senior Kindergarten.
