We're Seeking Your Input - Mental Health ThoughtExchange

Posted On Wednesday May 19, 2021

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students

While mental health and student learning have always been important in Ontario schools, there has never been a time when uniting these two priorities has been more essential. To be ready to learn, students need to feel a strong sense of safety, belonging and well-being at school.

As part of the Durham Catholic District School Board’s ongoing commitment to mental health and well-being, we are consulting with students, parents, guardians, students, and staff across our system, to inform our next steps. We will be using a platform called ThoughtExchange to gather your ideas and suggestions.

ThoughtExchange is a collaborative platform that brings people together on important topics. It helps people learn from one another, discover important insights, and make decisions quickly and effectively.?More information about this platform can be found on the website using the direct link: ThoughtExchange – How it Works.

Your input is valuable to us and will help determine areas of focus as we plan for continued and intentional actions in mental health work across the system. The ThoughtExchange will remain open for your participation until May 28, 2021
