Our Catholic school board is overseen by eight elected trustees. Trustees promote a vision that reflects the input of their communities. They advocate for excellence in education and act as role models to maintain confidence in publicly funded education. In addition, Catholic school trustees are stewards and guardians of Catholic education.
Two student trustee representatives, elected by their peers, also sit with the board in a non-voting capacity.

Regular board meetings take place on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Catholic Education Centre at 650 Rossland Road West in the City of Oshawa. I am a parent of two children in DCDSB. I am a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and I am a proud Catholic.
"As a Catholic School Board Trustee, I am committed to strengthening the relationship between church, school, family and community. I believe every child is made in the image and likeness of Christ. I’m committed to ensuring DCDSB policies and practices create safe places for our children to learn and grow in our faith including those children who identify as part of a group that have historically experienced any type of exclusion. I am committed to listening with the ear of my heart and working in collaboration with my fellow trustees, students, families and staff to further the goals of Catholic education."
