10th Annual Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation Gala
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,
We are writing on behalf of Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope to students in need in our community. The Foundation has been actively working towards this mission for the past 10 years, and we have made significant strides in providing essential services and support to children and families in need. We recognize that now, more than ever, students and families in our Durham Catholic learning community need our help.
Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation Gala, where 100% of the proceeds raised will go towards supporting Durham Catholic students and families. The gala will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Ajax Convention Centre (550 Beck Crescent, Ajax). Bringing together staff, parents, clergy, and community partners from across the region, the gala will recognize the Most Reverend Bishop Vincent Nguyen and celebrate the 2024 Durham Catholic Distinguished Alumni Award recipients. The keynote speaker will be Saroya Tinker, a Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School alumnus, and former all-star defender for the National Women’s Hockey League and Professional Hockey Federation player. Currently, Ms. Tinker is the Equity Director for the Professional Women’s Hockey Association and an analyst for CBC, Sportsnet and TSN. Tickets for the event can be purchased now at DurhamCatholicFoundation.ca/Gala at a cost of $130 per person.
The gala also has various sponsorship opportunities, ranging from Silent Auction prize donations, through to various levels of sponsorship. Your sponsorship of the 10th Annual Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation Gala means contributing to an important cause and gaining exposure and recognition for your commitment to corporate social responsibility. This support will be acknowledged through various channels, including all gala materials, media releases, social media, and the Foundation’s website.
