In promoting a whole school approach to safe, equitable, inclusive, and welcoming schools that enable students to reach their full potential, we engaged in capacity building for staff on human rights and equity principles, to equip board employees to identify and address racism and other forms of discrimination that violate the Ontario Human Rights Code (the Code). Senior Administration, school administrators, facilities services, management, professional staff, and support staff received training in the 2023-2024 school year. Approximately 500 staff attended these professional development and capacity-building training sessions throughout the school year.
