DCDSB Schools Closed on January 17, 2022

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

The health and safety of Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) students and staff is our highest priority. All DCDSB schools are closed for the day due to the inclement weather.

Secondary students will switch to remote online learning today.

Synchronous classes for all elementary students (including Durham Catholic Virtual Elementary School students) are cancelled. We encourage families of our elementary students to enjoy this ‘snow day’ however, educators will post asynchronous materials online for those who wish to access them. Families are also reminded of the materials and resources accessible through TVO Learn?and?TFO?IDÉLLO, apprendre à la maison, which provide supports for students by accessing additional educational resources developed by Ontario certified teachers.?

Thank you for your continued patience. All schools are expected to resume in-person learning tomorrow.

With the arrival of winter weather, we ask that you continue to check dsts.on.ca for school bus cancellations and delays and monitor your school’s website and social media for regular updates and information.
