Water Testing with Grade 5 Students

On Monday, April 15, Mr. Cusma’s Grade 5 class at St. John XXIII Catholic School tested water in the local creek with community partner, Ben Marshall. Ben taught the students how to identify insects to determine the biodiversity and healthy of the water. The students were very hands-on, and they conducted water sampling, identification, area clean up and data collection.
