Late this afternoon, the Government of Ontario announced that as a result of a rapid increase in COVID-19 transmission, a provincial decision has been made to return to remote learning for both elementary and secondary students following the April break. Today the Ministry of Education advised school boards across Ontario that there is no intention to move to remote learning following the Easter holidays and April break. Students currently attending in-person school will continue to attend classes for the four days next week from April 6-9, 2021.
