Parent volunteers collecting money in a schoolGood Shepherd Catholic School would like to thank the Knights of Columbus, staff and whole community for a wonderful Open House.  Families enjoyed a BBQ and students shared what their hopes are for this year. The Meet the Staff Open House events is an opportunity to families to meet their children's teachers, volunteer at the school and set goals for the school year.

Male and female students playing on the obstacle courseStudents took advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoyed playing on the Obstacle Course built by the Intermediate students at Good Shepherd Catholic School.  Students are testing their balance skills and joining in relay recesses. The Intermediate students also created math activities to do along the Obstacle Course.  
A great way to promote daily physical activity, while making learning fun. Bravo!

This past weekend, the school was thrilled to receive 4th place for its sunflower at the Port Perry Fair and recognition for its carrots!  Way to go to our Outdoor Education Club - this is a great start to our school year.
