Students holding Remembrance Day storiesMrs Ford’s Class led Good Shepherd Catholic School’s Remembrance Day Liturgy with song, poetry and prayer along with our Kindergarten students singing the song l Wish You Peace.  Our Intermediate students participated in Port Perry Remembrance Day Ceremony which concluded at the Cenotaph with wreath laying in remembrance.

While, staff at the board's St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Education Centre gathered for a Remembrance Day liturgy. Superintendent Bowyer shared with staff her grandfather’s experience serving in the war as a tribute to all the heroes who served our country. Lest we Forget!

The male students giving a thumbs upOver the past three days, Indigenous storyteller and renowned artist, Isaac Murdock has been sharing his knowledge of Mother Earth with Grade 7 students at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. The students have been learning more about Indigenous culture and how we need to take care of the Earth for future generations.

The days is an opportunity to students to explore career pathways.
