Austin Catholic Secondary School who travelled to Salt and Light Television in early December to participate in Mass. All Saints CSS StudentsCongratulations to students from St. Joseph Catholic School (Oshawa) and All Saints Catholic Secondary School (Whitby) who placed 2nd and 3rd in their respective categories for the nation-wide Music Class Challenge hosted by the CBC.
This year, an estimated 50,000 students from close to 1,200 music classes signed up to learn and perform their best version of a Canadian song.

Students artwork of Toronto Maple Leaf's dressing room on classroom doorStudents and staff at St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic School have embraced the hockey spirit as part of the Town of Whitby’s bid to win Hometown Hockey honours. Students are wearing red and have decorated the halls of their school with hockey jerseys. Students also decorated their classroom doors by creating artwork representing the original six hockey teams’ dressing rooms.

On December 10, 2019, Mika met with Mayor Carter and together they completed a full day’s agenda, with guided tours of the Oshawa Airport, Fire Hall, City Hall and Animal Services.
