Provide professional learning to support cultural shifts in schools to identify and dismantle systemic discrimination and structural inequities with the following:

Develop resources to support teachers in delivery of de-streamed curriculum

 

Implement early identification and intervention supports for elementary students who may have academic challenges.

 

 

Increase student engagement, achievement and well-being by providing wrap-around supports to address learning gaps before and after Grade 9 and, by strengthening the transition planning processes.

Develop an understanding of mathematical modelling to support counting principles, problem solving, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

Implement Zorbits Math Adventure; a suite of digital tools, hands-on resources and teacher supports. Zorbits fosters equity and joy in math through playful, collaborative, and diverse learning environments.

  • Build understanding with Guidance teachers about post-secondary supports, pathways and programs for Indigenous students
  • Expand D2L resources

  • Purchase digital resource ON Core - ON-CORE: a Canadian English and French resource designed specifically for Ontario teachers and students to support Indigenous Education
