Our Catholic school board is overseen by eight elected trustees. Trustees promote a vision that reflects the input of their communities. They advocate for excellence in education and act as role models to maintain confidence in publicly funded education. In addition, Catholic school trustees are stewards and guardians of Catholic education.
Two student trustee representatives, elected by their peers, also sit with the board in a non-voting capacity.
Regular board meetings take place on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Catholic Education Centre at 650 Rossland Road West in the City of Oshawa. To view the board meeting agendas and highlights, please visit our webpage. Delegation on matters of public interest related to Catholic education is encouraged and welcomed. The Board provides a public delegation process by which students, parents/guardians and community members can present views and concerns to the Board of Trustees. For more information, please see the Public Delegation Policy (PO219), the Public Delegation Administrative Procedure (AP219-1) and Request for Delegation Form (AF219-1A).
