The Durham Catholic District School Board is hosting Grade 8 Parent Information Nights at our secondary schools across the region for parents, guardians and students to attend.

This time of year is a big step for students transitioning from Grade 8 to Grade 9, so to ease anxiety for students and families, our schools offer tours, information sessions and open houses to answer questions and make students informed about their future.

Watch our Durham Catholic students share what they love about their Catholic secondary schools.

Upcoming Open Houses

Our secondary schools are offering the following upcoming Grade 8 Parent Information Nights - these evening sessions are a great opportunity for Grade 8 students and parents to learn more about their local high school, programs available, supports available for transition, meet staff and students and tour the school.

All are welcome to attend. Our secondary school communities welcome students of all faiths.
