DCDSB and OECTA Durham Elementary Teachers’ Unit Announce New Agreement Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) and the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) Durham Elementary Unit are pleased to announce they have ratified a new collective agreement. OECTA Durham Elementary represents the board’s permanent elementary teachers.

Durham Catholic District School Board Announces the Resignation of Assistant Superintendent of Indigenous Education At the Regular Board Meeting on May 27, 2024, the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) announced the resignation of Daniel Stargratt, Assistant Superintendent of Indigenous Education, who has accepted a new position at Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board. Assistant Superintendent Stargratt has over 28 years of experience in Catholic and First Nation schools, during which time he has served as a teacher, vice-principal, principal and system leader.

Register Now for CABS Multi-Sport Summer Camp DCDSB's Coach/Advocates for Black Students (CABS), together with Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Educaton Centre, presents the Multi-Sport Camp for DCDSB students who have completed Grade 6, 7, 8 or 9.

DCDSB and Chaplains Represented by APSSP Announce Tentative Agreement Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative settlement for a renewed collective agreement with the school board Chaplains represented by the Association of Professional Student Services Personnel (APSSP). APSSP represents the board's professional student services staff, which includes chaplaincy staff, in their employment.

Fred Fox Visits All Saints Catholic Secondary School On Thursday, May 23, All Saints Catholic Secondary School welcomed Fred Fox, brother of Terry Fox. Students, staff and community members celebrated the school’s long-standing commitment to the Terry Fox Foundation with an assembly and inspirational presentation by Fred Fox and the All Saints Student Council.
