Terry Fox at St. Joseph Catholic School Oshawa

Students at St. Joseph Catholic School participated with enthusiasm and spirit for the Terry Fox Walk/Run on Thursday, September 26, 2019.  This very important annual event to honour Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope to raise awareness and money for cancer research was generously supported by our families as we were able to send over $800 to the Terry Fox foundation.  Terry Fox provides our students with an exceptional example of perseverance, determination and sacrifice that is aligned with our focus on Catholic social justice teachings.  Helping others is what Jesus asked each of us to do.  Way to go Eagles!
