New Dual Credit Make Up Artistry Course launched at Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School

Local media are invited to a photo opportunity to learn more about Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School’s new Dual Credit Make Up Artistry Course. Students currently in the program and the high school and college teachers will be available for interviews.  

What:             In February 2018, the Durham Catholic District School Board launched a
                      new Dual Credit Make Up Artistry Course for Grade 11 students at
                      Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School.

When:           Wednesday, April 18, 2018
                      Time: 12:00 noon

Where:          Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School
                      80 Mandrake Street, Ajax

Why:             Dual credit programs such as this one allows students who are still in secondary
                      school, to take college or apprenticeship courses. When a student successfully
                      completes the course, he/she receives two credits - one towards a high
                      school diploma and the second on a college transcript.
