Posted On Friday March 17, 2023

March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down Syndrome. This year, Down Syndrome International has chose the theme 'With Us, Not For Us'. A reminder to the entire community that people with Down syndrome need to be a part of the work being done to secure them the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. DCDSB schools will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing colourful, fun socks, and engaging in learning.
