On Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1, Durham Catholic elementary schools hosted the annual Folk Dance Jamboree at Iroquois Park Sports Arena in Whitby. 27 schools participated in this event!
The Jamboree featured 10 dances with each school having the option to participate in some, or all of them. All participating schools performed the same dance simultaneously, adding their unique touches to each performance.
The evening concluded with a fun activity, inviting families to the arena floor to participate in the last dance. It was an enjoyable evening for both families and students alike!
