About Ronald
Ronald Rodriguez serves as the Chief Information Officer – Freedom of Information and Privacy at Durham Catholic District School Board. He provides strategic leadership to a highly effective team to provision emerging technology and innovation in the classroom. Ronald priorities span cyber security, network infrastructure, enterprise applications support and development, OnSIS reporting, freedom of information and privacy, bringing emerging technology to the classroom, and provide the best level of service to employees and students.
Ronald’s 25+ years of Information Technology executive leadership significantly contributes to the ICT Department success. As a seasoned leader, he possesses a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision.
Beyond his role, Ronald serves on the Board of Directors for the Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation and oversees the #ForeTheKids Golf Classic. In addition, he is an active member of the CIO Association of Canada and has been part of the Board of Directors (Toronto Chapter). Ronald is also actively involved with OASBO (Ontario Association of School Board Officials) and ECNO (Educational Computing Network of Ontario). These roles demonstrate his commitment to education and technology leadership within the community.
