CABS Summer STEM Camps

2025 CABS Summer STEM Camps

Durham Catholic District School Board's Coach/ Advocate for Black Students (CABS) program is excited to offer three different Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) camps in partnership with Queen’s University, Ontario Tech University Engineering Outreach, and McMaster University.

Through this program, students will experience a community-orientated and accessible learning environment to explore different facets of STEM, coding, and engineering design.

DCDSB elementary students currently enrolled in Grades 7 and 8, and secondary students currently enrolled in Grades 9 and 10 are invited to register. Students are welcome to register for any desired week of their choosing, including multiple weeks. While this is a camp facilitated by the CABS program, any and all students of the DCDSB in Grades 7 to 10 are welcomed to attend.

Optional busing may be provided, with 10 specified pick up and drop off locations across Durham Region, to make this camp more widely accessible (locations and details shared upon registration, subject to availability).

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact cabs@dcdsb.ca
