Schools We Support

The Coach/Advocates for Black Students (CABS) support various schools within the Durham Catholic District School Board.

Referral Process

Below is the referral process for families who would like to request CABS services and supports:

  1. Parents of students who identify as Black at designated schools can request CABS services directly by approaching the CABS or via CABS@dcdsb.ca
  2. Administrators and school staff in a designated school can speak directly to the CABS staff to discuss possible needs in their school.

Referrals for students from non-designated CABS schools are not available at this time. However, there are programs and events throughout the school year and during the summer that are open to students who identify as Black from any DCDSB school.
