Durham Catholic District School Board strongly recommends that our international students take advantage of our partnership with MLI Homestay. Living with a Canadian family is an excellent opportunity for international students to learn the English language and culture of Canada. MLI Homestay program will also offer Custodianship Services to international students under the age of 18 years.
After submitting the international education applications to DCDSB, students can apply to this homestay program through the following website.
International students under 18 years old who don’t come with their parent or legal guardian must appoint a custodian in Canada.

Parents and the custodian must complete the Custodianship Declaration Form (available on the IRCC website) and submit the signed and notarized Custodianship Declaration Form to DCDSB International Education team.
