Durham Catholic District School Board currently serves approximately 21,000 students in Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, and the townships of Uxbridge, Scugog and Brock.

School Facts

  • 39 Elementary Schools (12 offer French Immersion)

  • 7 Secondary Schools (3 offer French Immersion, 2 accept Grade 7 to Grade 12 students)

  • 6 Alternative and Adult Continuing Education Sites

While submitting the online application, students can choose 3 desired schools according to their preferences and their living address in Durham Region. Seats in the Passport to Excellence program are limited and the Durham Catholic District School Board reserves the right to place international students based on program availability.
