DCDSB Students Participate in Build a Dream’s Career Discovery ExpoOn the evening of April 27, 2023, over 100 DCDSB students and their families attended Build a Dream’s Career Discovery Expo at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility in Ajax. Throughout the evening, students and their families had an opportunity to listen to a panel discussion featuring women in the skilled trades, learn how to explore the apprenticeship pathway in secondary school through tech courses and OYAP, meet with local employers and union representatives, as well as participate in hands-on activities.
