• The virtual gathering of 8 secondary school student senators (including the new Durham Catholic Virtual Secondary School) for monthly meetings to share ideas, student voice and comments;
• First ever virtual Student Trustee elections;
• Student Outreach through social media campaigns and increased Instagram followers from 477 to 948;
• Student Trustee motion (in March 2021) approved the position extended to a 2-Year term;
• Inclusivity Recommendations - from Equity, participation on DCDSB's Anti-Black Racism Committee, to the raising of the Rainbow Flag in recognition of Pride Month;
• Virtual meetings with student councils, equity groups and GSA/2SLGBTQ+ Groups twice throughout the school year;
• Commitment to environmental sustainability and a viewing party of the Bee movie on Earth Day (April 23, 2021);
• Provincial advocacy for Catholic education;
• Worked in collaboration with the Durham District School Board Student Trustees to organize a region wide spirit week; and
• Committed to supporting students Mental Health and Well-Being from the start to finish of this school year.
