Youth Ministries

Our local parishes offer students in Grades 6 to 12 the opportunity to join one of the youth ministry's programs. Please call the parishes below for more information or to register for an upcoming program. 

The following schools are affiliated with St. Bernadette Parish, in Ajax:

Programs available for Elementary School Students:

JUNIOR EDGE (Grades 1-4)

  • October to June
  • Takes place every 2nd and 4th Monday (6:30pm-8pm)

EDGE (Grades 5-8)

  • October to June
  • Takes place every 2nd and 4th Friday (6:30pm-8:30pm)

Programs available for Secondary School Students:

SUMMIT Teen Ministry (Grades 9-12)

  • Takes place biweekly on Thursdays (6:30pm-8:30pm)

Program available for Secondary Students 

LIFE TEEN for Grade 9-12 students. Runs October – June and takes place every first and third Saturday from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the parish hall. *Teens and Families are invited to join for the Holy Mass at 4:30 p.m. prior to each LIFE TEEN event if possible.

Our LIFE TEEN program is a vibrant community of teens who desire to strengthen their relationship with God and grow together as one family in Christ. For Grades 9-12, it runs every first and third Thursday of each month at 6:45 p.m.

Parish Home Catechism Program (PHCP)

  • Grades 1-8
  • Parish Home Catechism Program is a Faith Formation Program for any interested child grades 1-8, and is necessary for children who attend non catholic private, public or alternative schools, to receive their Sacraments. Children learn about their Roman Catholic Faith though material that is based on the weekly Sunday Mass.
  • Sunday School on Wednesday evenings!

Life Teen 
  • Grades 9-12
  • Food, Friends, Faith & Fun!
  • Lifeteen helps teenagers form a deeper relationship with Christ through engaging activities and talks. It is a place where teens can make new friends, find support, ask questions about their faith, and have fun! Most importantly though, Lifeteen is about leading youth closer to Christ.
