Honouring our Veterans

Throughout the month of November, the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) pays our respects to the over 2.3 million Canadians who have served our country, and continue to serve, in times of war, conflict and peace. On Indigenous Veterans Day on November 8, and Remembrance Day on November 11, we pay tribute to all those who have fought for Canada in the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War, and all who have served since then.

In honour of Indigenous Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, we invite members of our Durham Catholic learning community to share the name(s) of those whose service you will be thinking of this November. The names will be displayed on the board’s website and on the digital sign outside of the DCDSB Catholic Education Centre (650 Rossland Rd. W, Oshawa, ON), from November 8-12, 2026.

If you would like to participate, please complete the form by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026.
