Human Resource Services
In 2020-2021, our Human Resources department invested in development of staff throughout the organization. As part of the board's commitment to Equity, the Human Resources team focused on recruiting a more diverse workforce to reflect our growing communities and changing demographics. This initiative is ensuring students are able to see themselves in our staff and school leaders.
The support, orientation, and development of new teachers remains a priority for the board. The New Teacher Induction Program (NTIP) is a mentorship program that supports the onboarding of new teachers and provides learning and resources to ensure their success in their first few years of teaching.
Another area of focus was the modernization of the board’s Enterprise Resource System to empower staff to be more productive and streamline business processes.
