Leadership development

• Development of a new administrative procedure for the advancement and selection process from the role of Vice Principal to Principal 

• Development and implementation of Vice Principals leadership series focused on both adaptive and technical skills

Employment Systems Review

• Develop a recruitment plan which aims to close the gap between representation in our community and those underrepresented in our workforce. 

• Implement a new organizational structure to better serve and support our employees

• Analyze operational processes to ensure our systems are transparent, consistent, and free from bias and discrimination

The recruitment plan will be finalized over the summer and enacted during the 2022-2023 school year. The review of the interview process is complete and will be communicated and implemented in the fall.

Onboarding of new employees

• Question, revise, and develop onboarding and mentoring processes to support new employees and those moving into new positions.

The integration of onboarding forms, tools, and processes into the Enterprise Resource Program and Employee Intranet have been developed. A committee for mentoring as part of the onboarding process has been struck to provide  recommendations.
