- Allocate resources towards the procurement of new mobile devices (i.e., laptops) to ensure schools are equipped with up-to-date technology

- Conduct a compliance review of the current Attendance Support Policy and Administrative Procedure to ensure alignment with PPM 171 by the required June 2026 deadline
- Develop standardized reporting tools and communication templates for Principals, Managers, Supervisors and Employees
- Implement a communication and training plan to support the rollout of the updated Attendance Support Program
- Consistent with recommendation 29 in Dreams Delayed: Addressing Systemic Anti-Black Racism and Discrimination in Ontario’s Public Education System (Ontario Human Rights Commission), the DCDSB will develop a strategy to support the recruitment of Black educators and education workers.
