SEAC
One of our Board's regulatory committees is the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC). This committee provides advice on special education. SEAC is made up of school board trustees and representatives of local associations that further the well-being of groups of exceptional children or adults.
Associations Represented
The following associations are represented on SEAC:
- Autism Ontario - Durham Region;
- Community Representative;
- Durham Down Syndrome Association;
- Grandview Children's Centre;
- Learning Disabilities Association - Durham;
- Participation House Project - Durham;
- VOICE for the Hearing Impaired;
- Sawubona Africentric Circle of Support.
