  • DCDSB Students get a 'Taste' of Apprenticeship Program On Wednesday, October 23, Grade 11 and 12 students across the Durham Catholic District School Board attended an Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) Cook Information and Experience Day at the Durham College Whitby Campus. Students met the faculty, went on a tour of the culinary labs and facilities, and participated in hands-on cooking sessions and prepared 75 meals for lunch.

What is resilience? Resilience is the ability to cope with challenges or changes in your life, like bouncing back after hard times, giving things a try and standing up for yourself.

  • 2024-2025 DCDSB Student Achievement Plan Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is pleased to present the 2024-2025 Student Achievement Plan.   • St. Mary Catholic Secondary School Receives Pickering Environmental Schools Grant to Support Outdoor Classroom and Gardens St. Mary Catholic Secondary School received a Pickering Environmental Schools Grant from the City of Pickering in the 2023-2024 school year.
  • Holy Family Catholic School Recognizes Down Syndrome Awareness Month As October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Holy Family Catholic School has been learning about Down syndrome. As a culminating task, all students collectively completed a ribbon that came together as a display in the front foyer.
