DCDSB and Chaplains Represented by APSSP Announce Tentative AgreementDurham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is pleased to announce that it has reached a tentative settlement for a renewed collective agreement with the school board Chaplains represented by the Association of Professional Student Services Personnel (APSSP). APSSP represents the board's professional student services staff, which includes chaplaincy staff, in their employment.

Fred Fox Visits All Saints Catholic Secondary SchoolOn Thursday, May 23, All Saints Catholic Secondary School welcomed Fred Fox, brother of Terry Fox. Students, staff and community members celebrated the school’s long-standing commitment to the Terry Fox Foundation with an assembly and inspirational presentation by Fred Fox and the All Saints Student Council.
Exploring the Skilled Trades through the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program and Indigenous EducationThroughout the spring, Grade 10 students enrolled in the Food and Nutrition course at Archbishop Denis O'Connor Catholic High School participated in an exciting Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) and Indigenous Education initiative. Students took part in several workshops led by Indigenous community partners where they learned about food sustainability, Indigenous food, customs and culture.

Elementary Indigenous Student Circle Explores the Land with Ben MarshallOn Wednesday, May 15, students from the elementary Indigenous Student Circle were invited to go out on the land with Indigenous community partner and ecologist, Ben Marshall. Ben led the students out to the trail and forested area next to the Pope Francis Centre.
