St. Luke Food Drive - Full of Gratitude and HopeSt. Luke Catholic School hosted a school-wide Food Drive, where they encouraged each class to bring in as many food items as they could carry to school!
This was a school-wide initiative had everyone involved and helping out our community in Durham Region.

Super 60 Cross Country ChampionshipOn Thursday, October 10, more than 660 students participated in the Durham Elementary Catholic Athletics (DECA) Super 60 Cross Country Championship Meet.
Held as the culmination of the DCDSB 2024 Cross-Country season, the Super 60 Championships were open to elementary school runners in Grades 3 to 8 that placed in the top 15 at one of DCDSB’s four Regional Meets.

Ajax Fire Chief for the Day at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic SchoolOn October 10, a Grade 3 student at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School was thrilled to learn that he had won the Ajax Fire Chief for the Day contest! Evan’s creative submission, a comic strip showcasing his ideas to enhance community safety and well-being as Fire Chief, was selected from over 600 entries from elementary schools across Ajax.
