Ribbon Skirt Making with Indigenous Student CircleFrom Friday, April 18 to Friday, April 26, Grade 8 and Grade 12 students from the Indigenous Student Circle sewed their own ribbon skirts and shirts with community partner, Mel Roberts. Mel showed the students how to measure out their fabric, choose various colours and patterns, and sew the fabrics together to make their ribbon skirts and shirts.

Indigenous Student Circle Overnight Trip to Claremont Nature CentreOn Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11, members of the Indigenous Student Circle experienced an immersive overnight experience at Claremont Nature Centre.
Students began their time by taking part in team building activities led by the Claremont staff.
