  • 2025 Travel for Credit Information Session Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers, As part of Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre’s 2025 summer school programming, in partnership with EF Educational Tours, Travel for Credit courses are available to secondary school students across the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB). When enrolling in a Travel for Credit course, students in the DCDSB will have the unique opportunity to earn academic credits through a combination of traditional and experiential learning.
  • Coding Quest Projects at St. Patrick Catholic School Grade 5 students at St. Patrick Catholic School showcased their creativity, critical thinking and collaboration skills through Coding Quest projects! Students used Scratch and Makey Makeys to create interactive French video games while integrating skills across three subjects: French, Science, and Math.
  • Family Literacy Night The Durham Catholic Parent Involvement Committee and the Durham Catholic District School Board Literacy Team have partnered to offer a Family Literacy Night for parents and caregivers. This presentation will cover: Key changes to reading and writing instruction in OntarioThe purpose of early reading screeningWays parents and caregivers can support strong reading outcomes at homeThe presentation will be available on three different dates and locations to ensure accessibility for families.
