March 31 is Indigenous Languages Day March 31 is National Indigenous Languages Day and an opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada to recognize and celebrate Indigenous languages and work together towards language revitalization and collective understanding DCDSB's Indigenous Education department has compiled resources for further learning about Indigenous languages. These include: Fort Eerie Native Friendship Centre is offering online language learning classes for Haudenosaunee languages including Cayuga, Tuscarora, Oneida, Onondaga, Seneca and Mohawk.
