  • Home-School-Parish Symposium 2025 On Thursday, May 29, the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) welcomed local clergy, parish staff, parents, school administrators, and school staff for a special symposium with the goal to nurture collaborative relationships between families, parishes, and school staff who share a strong commitment to Catholic education.  The DCDSB would like to acknowledge and thank all those who contributed to the success of the Home-School-Parish Symposium 2025.
  • Good Shepherd Catholic School Celebrates 25 Years of Catholic Education On May 23, 2025, students, families, staff, government officials, and community members came together at Good Shepherd Catholic School to celebrate the school’s 25th anniversary. Good Shepherd Catholic School opened in October 1999 and was originally built to relieve Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Port Perry.
  • DCDSB Students Participate in Ubuntu Celebration On Wednesday, May 28, Grade 7 students celebrated the final session of the Created in the Image of God: I Am Because We Are (Ubuntu) engagement series. This event brought approximately 325 students together from across the DCDSB and was led by Tanika Riley featuring guest speaker Matthew Jones.
