During July and August, the Durham Catholic District School Board's Catholic Education Centre (650 Rossland Rd. W., Oshawa) is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Catholic Education Centre Summer Closures:
On May 11, 2026, more than 900 students from both Durham Catholic and Durham District School Boards gathered at the McKinney Centre in Whitby for the annual Durham Forest of Reading Celebration.
On May 12, Grade 9 students at Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic Secondary School in Oshawa engaged in an exciting day of hands-on, career-connected learning through the Electricity Now program.
