DCDSB After School Social Skills ProgramsDCDSB After School Social Skills Programs, for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), will begin the first week of October 2023.
This year, the following programs are being offered:
PEERS: The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is world-renowned for providing evidence-based social skills treatment to adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with ASD - available for Grade 7 to Grade 12.

Registration Now Open for International Languages ClassesThe International Languages programs offered through Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre are designed for students from Year 1 Kindergarten/Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. The programs provide students with the opportunity to speak, listen, write and read in an international language and to learn about the culture and heritage associated with the language.

Enhancing Numeracy Skills at Welding CampDuring the month of July, Durham Catholic District School Board offered an enhanced Welding Camp for students to develop numeracy skills, by introducing participants to basic welding techniques used in many trades.

Archbishop Francis Leo visits Durham Catholic District School BoardIt was a special afternoon on August 23, as Archbishop Francis Leo presided over Mass with Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) principals, vice-principals, superintendents and staff. Held during his first visit to DCDSB since his appointment as the Archbishop of Toronto in March 2023, the Mass was also an opportunity to commission new administrators.
