  • Substance Use Awareness Presentation (October 23rd @7pm) Pinewood Addiction Services in partnership with Lakeridge Health will be presenting an evening session on Substance Use Awareness on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7pm at St. Mary C.
  • Super 60 Cross Country Championship On Thursday, October 10, more than 660 students participated in the Durham Elementary Catholic Athletics (DECA) Super 60 Cross Country Championship Meet.  Held as the culmination of the DCDSB 2024 Cross-Country season, the Super 60 Championships were open to elementary school runners in Grades 3 to 8 that placed in the top 15 at one of DCDSB’s four Regional Meets.
  • Ajax Fire Chief for the Day at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School On October 10, a Grade 3 student at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School was thrilled to learn that he had won the Ajax Fire Chief for the Day contest! Evan’s creative submission, a comic strip showcasing his ideas to enhance community safety and well-being as Fire Chief, was selected from over 600 entries from elementary schools across Ajax.

  • Travel for Credit 2025 This year, as part of Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre's night school and summer school programming for the 2024-2025 school year, and in partnership with EF Educational Tours, we will be making Travel for Credit courses available to secondary school students across the board. When enrolling in a Travel for Credit course, students in the Durham Catholic District School Board will have the unique opportunity to earn academic credits through a combination of traditional and experiential learning.
