During July and August, the Durham Catholic District School Board's Catholic Education Centre (650 Rossland Rd. W., Oshawa) is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Catholic Education Centre Summer Closures:
The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is earning provincial recognition for its commitment to sustainability and responsible energy management, and is now recognized as one of the most energy-efficient school boards in Ontario.
The province is investing $5.4 million for a new addition at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School to create more student spaces in a growing community. This project will, when complete, deliver 184 new elementary student spaces for local families in the Durham Catholic District School Board.
During Speech and Hearing Awareness Month, the DCDSB Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) team wanted to raise awareness and understanding of the different ways people communicate while recognizing the challenges that students with hearing loss may experience in their daily lives.
On Tuesday, June 9, St. Wilfrid Catholic School hosted a Family Cultural Night for their school community.
Kindergarten students at Monsignor Philip Coffey Catholic School explored plant life cycles through hands-on learning in their community garden.
This past weekend, the incredible Colourguard Group from St. Joseph Catholic School (Oshawa) proudly represented the school in the Brooklin Spring Fair parade and brought home 1st place for Most Colourful Group!
The St. Mary of the People Knights of Columbus Council #8611 organized a Tree Planting project at St. Christopher Catholic School on Saturday, May 30.
