It is with gratitude and appreciation for all in our Durham Catholic learning community, that I share my 2024-2025 Director’s Annual Report: Living in Hope. This past year has been filled with many successes as we live out our mission to be an inclusive Catholic learning community that inspires every student to achieve their full potential through faith and education.

Grade 11 and 12 students in our Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs recently stepped out of the classroom and into exciting hands-on learning during Sector-Partner Experience Days with local community partners.

Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) has received the latest reports from the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO), which provide valuable insights into student achievement across the province. The 2024-2025 results include data from Primary and Junior assessments, Grade 9 Mathematics, and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). These reports, alongside report card grades, learning skills, and classroom evaluations, help educators, students, and families celebrate successes and identify areas for growth to support student achievement.
From Monday, November 24 to Friday, November 28, St. Anne Catholic School’s Unified Student Equity Leadership Team held Jamaica Strong Week. This week was organized to support the families that were affected by the devastation of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
